What a school website costs depends on its features, not on the school level: a profile site with news and a gallery is far cheaper than an online admissions system or a parent portal. At PintuWeb a school profile site can use the Standard Business package from IDR 500,000; heavier features are built as a Custom Website or Web App, priced to your needs.

One honest note first: we do not sell a package called "school website". We have general packages, and the job is matching what your school needs to the closest one.

Two levels of need

Need Example content Fitting package
Profile and information History, vision, teachers, activities, news, gallery, contact, map Standard Business, from IDR 500,000
One-page announcement New-student intake or a school event Landing Page, from IDR 100,000
System with logins and data Online admissions, attendance, grades, parent portal Custom Website or Web App, priced to your needs
App on parents' or teachers' phones Announcements, schedules, notifications Mobile App, from IDR 500,000

The Standard Business package includes 3–5 pages (Home, About, Services, Blog, Contact), a responsive design, domain, hosting and SSL, a contact form, WhatsApp, Google Maps, basic SEO and 2 design revisions. For a school, the "Services" page usually becomes programs or majors and the "Blog" becomes school news.

What moves the price

  1. Number of pages. Extra pages are charged per page, so decide which ones you will really use.
  2. Features that store user data. Anything that asks people to log in, upload files or keep student data adds build time, testing and responsibility.
  3. Content readiness. Tidy photos, staff lists and profile text speed everything up.
  4. Who updates it. If staff will post news regularly, ask how, and whether training is included.
  5. Support period. Our bug guarantee is 30 days after launch.

Costs schools often forget

  • Domain and hosting renewal. The first year is included; from the second year it is roughly IDR 300,000–500,000 per year, and we remind you before it is due.
  • School-specific domains. Extensions such as sch.id usually require document verification through the domain registry. Check the current rules with PANDI or an official registrar before deciding.
  • Someone to post content. A site that is never updated feels abandoned. Name one person for news and announcements.
  • Photos of students. Get parents' permission before showing children's photos.

How to compare vendors

  • Ask for a written list of pages and features, not only a total.
  • Make sure the domain is registered to the school or foundation, not to the vendor.
  • Ask whether code and hosting access are handed over after full payment. With PintuWeb, the domain, code and access are yours once you have paid.
  • Open live examples. We have 83 demos in the demo gallery, including a school app for parents.
  • Ask for the second-year cost and who helps when something breaks.

Before you ask for a quote

  1. List the pages you want (five is a good start).
  2. Mark which features are needed now and which can wait.
  3. Collect the logo, photos and profile text.
  4. Decide who holds the domain account and who manages content.
  5. Send that list via the contact page. Every package is a 50% deposit up front and the rest after you approve the finished site.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a school website cost?

A profile site with news and a gallery starts at IDR 500,000 on the Standard Business package, first-year domain and hosting included. Systems such as online admissions are priced to your needs as a Custom Website or Web App after a consultation.

Does PintuWeb have a school website package?

No. A school profile uses Standard Business; admissions, parent logins or student data are built as a Custom Website or Web App.

How long does a school website take?

The Standard Business package takes 2–3 working days once content is complete. Systems with logins take longer, depending on features.

Are there monthly fees?

No mandatory monthly fee. The only recurring cost from us is domain and hosting renewal, roughly IDR 300,000–500,000 per year from the second year. Extended maintenance is optional.

Can teachers post news themselves?

Yes, if content management is agreed on at the start. Ask how it works before you pay the deposit.
