A village website costs from IDR 500,000 for a profile site on the Standard Business package; resident services such as population data or online letters are built as a Custom Website or Web App, priced to your needs. We do not have a dedicated village package, so this article helps you pick the right one and prepare.

Three levels of village website

Level Content PintuWeb package
1. Profile and information Village profile, government structure, local potential (tourism, small businesses, farming), news, gallery, map, contact Standard Business, from IDR 500,000
2. One-topic promotion A single page for village tourism, a festival or a flagship product Landing Page, from IDR 100,000
3. Services and data Letter requests, population data, complaints, budget transparency with logins Custom Website or Web App

Level 1 covers most villages: outsiders can find the village and its potential on Google, and residents know how to reach the village office. Standard Business includes 3–5 pages, a responsive design, domain, hosting and SSL, a contact form, Google Maps, basic SEO and 2 design revisions.

Level 3 is different in nature. Once a site stores residents' data, security, staff access rights and data responsibility come into play. That is why it is not a fixed package: we price it after a consultation.

About the desa.id domain

A desa.id domain is reserved for village governments; it is not a domain anyone can buy. The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) calls it a government digital asset and urges villages to manage it properly: renew before it expires, monitor its validity, keep the responsible person's details current and keep the website active.

Check these points with the authorities yourself (for example the district communications office or the domain.go.id portal), because procedures change:

  • who may apply and which documents are required,
  • whether there is a fee and how much,
  • who is the responsible person for the domain in the village government.

We do not promise to obtain government domains for you. What we do: prepare the site so it can be placed on a domain you already hold, or provide a commercial domain if the village does not yet have a desa.id one.

What affects the cost

  • Pages and menus. Extra pages are charged per page.
  • Service features. A simple form costs far less than a system with village-staff logins.
  • Content readiness. Tidy photos, profile text and local-potential data speed things up.
  • Who updates it. Name a village operator and make news posting easy.
  • Support. Our bug guarantee is 30 days after launch; extended maintenance is optional.

Costs after year one

Domain and hosting from us are included in the first year; after that roughly IDR 300,000–500,000 per year, with a reminder before it is due. If the village uses a desa.id domain, its renewal follows that registry, separately from us.

When village officials change, note who holds the domain and hosting accounts. Village sites often go offline because a renewal date slipped through after a handover.

What to ask a vendor

  1. A written list of pages and features.
  2. Who owns the domain, hosting and code after full payment.
  3. How staff change passwords and post news.
  4. The guarantee and the second-year cost.

The full checklist is in how to choose a web developer. To promote local attractions, see tourism and homestay websites and getting on Google Maps. Live examples are in the demo gallery (83 demos). Start from the contact page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a village website cost?

A village profile site starts at IDR 500,000 on Standard Business. For services such as online letters or population data, the price follows your needs as a Custom Website or Web App after a consultation.

What is the difference between a village website and a desa.id domain?

The website is the content; the domain is the address. A desa.id domain is reserved for village governments and registered through the competent authorities, while any vendor can build the website.

Does PintuWeb have a village website package?

No. A village profile uses Standard Business; resident services are built as a custom project.

How long does it take?

Standard Business takes 2–3 working days once content is complete. Service systems take longer, depending on features.

Can the village post news itself?

Yes, if content management is agreed at the start. Make sure there is a village operator and ask how it works before the deposit.
